I have always loved to spend time around my fireplace with my husband and family. However, sitting or studying by the fireplace was a bit uncomfortable, especially in the winter months, due to the chilly draft. I spoke to my husband who is pretty handy about these things and suggested that he engineer a solution that would replace the particle board, plastic sheets and other solution that we had previously used in the past.

Finally, I woold like to take this opportunity to share with you one last benefit embodied within our custom-made fireplace covers i.e., the fact that they really do pay for themselves! If you have a fireplace, even with the hamper closed, it is costing you money in both summer (the heat coming down through your chimney) drives up your AC bill and, as we all know, the cold coming down your chimney, drives up your heating bill.
